I am a game developer with a strong passion for making tools that simplify the workflow for designers and artists. When I'm not spending my time programming, I use it to tinker with my 3D printer.

ABOUT ME

The beginning of my educational journey in 2017 was a pivotal moment when I graduated from secondary school. I ventured into the field of Information Technology (IT) by enrolling in a specialized program at a vocational school. Over the course of three enriching years, I immersed myself in the various facets of IT, honing my skills and acquiring a wide range of knowledge.During this transformative period, I dedicated myself to mastering a multitude of disciplines within IT. These included:

  • Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, C, and C++

  • Experience in programming, particularly assembler, with a focus on microcontroller systems, notably the ATtiny2313.

  • Windows administration

  • Linux fundamentals

  • Understanding the intricacies of (electro)pneumatic circuits

Furthermore, I expanded my expertise across a spectrum of crucial areas, encompassing:

  • Interface standards such as HDMI, SATA, USB, and Ethernet

  • Familiarity with network protocols including HTTP, TCP, and FTP

  • Knowledge of file systems like FAT32 and NTFS

  • Comprehensive understanding of computer components and architecture

  • Proficiency in database systems

  • Competency in calculating with different number systems, including binary and hexadecimal

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Scrum and the waterfall model


Equipped with a broad understanding of IT, I decided to train as a developer, which I was able to complete in just two years using my existing skills. During this time, I honed my C# programming skills and applied them to projects within my workplace's ERP system, where I led the development of two modules - an inventory management tool for employees and an investment module for managers.

Alongside work, I immersed myself in Unity, tackled small projects and took part in two game jams to improve my project and time management skills. After a year at my training company, I switched to the Bachelor of Arts in Game Design & Development at the Macromedia University in Cologne. I am currently in my second semester and have expanded my knowledge in the fields of game design, art and history to further enrich my educational path in the field of IT and game development.

PROJECT LEAD & GAME DESIGNER

A thrilling board game set in the universe of "Avatar: The Last Airbender," before the era of Avatar Aang. Players strive to accumulate Victory Points by undertaking quests. Quests can be fulfilled through trading with fellow players or the Merchant, gathering essential resources, and constructing temples and statues.
